50+ Mirrors Shot in 5 Days with DAREstudios’ Modular Set Build System
At DAREstudios, we recently had the pleasure of working with The Online Mirror Shop on an extensive and fast-paced photo shoot capturing 50 Plus Mirrors for their latest product release. The shoot was a masterclass in efficiency, flexibility, and creative problem-solving — all made possible through our Modular Set Build System.
The entire production took place over just five days, with each day maximised to ensure the tight deadline was met without compromising on quality. Our cost-effective modular set system allowed us to build, adapt, and re-dress multiple environments on the fly, giving each mirror a unique setting that showcased its design and character.
Using our modular approach, we built a variety of high-end interior spaces quickly and efficiently, saving time and budget while maintaining visual consistency. With our in-house team managing set building, set dressing, and lighting, every detail was considered to create clean, modern backdrops that felt authentic and aspirational.
One of the unique challenges of this shoot was the fact that not all the mirrors had arrived on time. Rather than delay the schedule, we took holding shots of the sets without mirrors, allowing for comped images to be created once the missing products were available. This solution, paired with our advanced image comping, retouching, and cutout services, ensured the final assets looked seamless and complete.
Every mirror was retouched with precision to remove imperfections, enhance finishes, and maintain true-to-life reflections. Our post-production team worked closely with the client to ensure the images matched their brand tone and quality standards across the board.
